This unique collaboration began in May 2017, completing a full and absolutely successful cycle in the major theaters and cities of Greece, culminating in Athens last September with two magnificent sold-out concerts at the Herodes Atticus Theatre.
The great success prompted the artists to renew their appointment for the winter, where they held multiple extensions and sold-out shows at Gazarte. With the most beautiful songs of our great composer and the interpretations of our top performer, they shared 10 months of a truly unprecedented meeting. The two significant personalities of Greek music presented an exceptional program that no one could get enough of, a program that received rave reviews.
And while everyone believed that this cycle would come to an end in March, the demand from the audience led them to decide on a new series of concerts this summer, in significant theaters and selected cities in Greece that had not had the opportunity to enjoy them. Their enriched program is sure to attract even those who saw them last summer, as well as many others who cannot get enough of meeting them and singing along.
Stavros Xarchakos will be on stage with Alkistis Protopsalti in a program that he will conduct himself, featuring the most beautiful songs of his, colored by the delicate and precise interpretation of the performer.
